Surveys@Work is a Singapore-based consulting firm that designs, administers, and analyzes employee surveys, and provides related consulting services.

John Mauro

Managing Partner

John Mauro

John has been conducting surveys in the Asia Pacific region since 1993, and founded Surveys@Work in 2000.

In addition to his co-development and refinement of Surveys@Work's employee engagement survey, he has developed research methodology and helped companies gather employee, customer and business partner perceptions with the purpose of aligning stakeholders through actionable research. In his career, John has directed and analyzed employee surveys involving hundreds of business units across Asia and around the world.

Prior to establishing Surveys@Work, John was the Singapore-based Asian Regional Director for a US consultancy for six years. In that role, he set up the Asian operations and oversaw regional projects amongst partner companies in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. He has been a feature speaker at conferences and industry associations in several ASEAN nations as well as in France, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US.

Simon Ee

Simon Ee

Simon is in charge of all software and technological development at Surveys@Work. He has designed and developed our online survey technology for employee surveys and 360 feedback instruments, including the scoring engine, statistical analysis, and all related reporting systems. Simon's expertise allows us to customize and deploy a unique variety of surveys to meet client needs.

Simon has a deep background in enterprise software development, and related IT systems development. Prior to joining Surveys@Work he spent six years serving as Chief Technology Officer and Principal Consultant for a company that specialized in enterprise-wide business solutions for the commodity product industries. As Chief Architect of the software suite, he led a team of programmers to build the initial product, and expand on functionality over time. He also developed new business processes for clients and directed product design, as well as led extensive software implementation projects.

In his close to twenty years of business experience, Simon has worked with various organizations in the United States, Europe, and Asia in various industries that include manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, medical care, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, commodities, and hospitality. Simon has also given talks to industry bodies and organizations in Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
